License
Dockify is open source under the Apache License 2.0: use it, change it and run it for anyone, with the notices kept.
#Apache License 2.0
Dockify is licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. The full text is the LICENSE file at the root of the repository; this page is a plain summary of it, not legal advice.
#What you may do
- Use it for anything, commercial or not, on as many servers as you like, for yourself or for your clients.
- Change it, and share your changed version, as source or as built images.
- Distribute it, and sublicense it, under the same license.
The license also grants a patent license from each contributor for their contributions, which ends for anyone who sues claiming that Dockify infringes a patent.
#What you must do when you share it
- Include a copy of the license.
- Keep the copyright and license notices that are in the files you pass on.
- Mark the files you changed, so nobody mistakes your change for the original.
#What it does not give
- The name and the logo. The license does not grant use of the Dockify name or the whale for another product, beyond saying truthfully where your code came from.
- A warranty. Dockify comes as is, without warranty, and the authors are not liable for what it does on your server. Read the Security model for what is and is not covered.
#Your contributions
Anything you submit for inclusion, such as a pull request, is under the same Apache License 2.0, unless you say otherwise when you submit it. See Contributing.
